ST AD 02 : North West Adventure Tour

( 10 days / 9night ) Daily departure.
Ha Noi – Halong - Sapa - ThanUyen - MuCangChai - YenBai  - Moc chau – Mai Chau – Hanoi

This adventure tour helps you to discover North West provinces, visit many ethnic villages and experience home stay.

Depart the tour from Ha Noi and transfer to Hoa Binh to visit the hydro electric centre and the village of Thai people. Continue to go to Son La where you have the chance to learn of different tradition and custom of many minorities here including Tay, Meo, Muong, etc. Following day is reserved for a boat trip on Da River.

Next destination on your tour is Sin Ho and then Baso with a visit of Tam Duong colourful fair. Take a winding and up-hill road trip to Sa Pa – an old French colonial hill station.Enjoy the trekking tour to discover some villages of H’mong, Dzay and Dao minorities. You will also cannot miss Bac Ha market this occasion to see how local people exchange goods.

Come back to Ha Noi and see you on another tour.

Day 1: Ha Noi Arrival  ( D)
Arrive at NoiBai Airport. Meeting with guide and transfer to the hotel. Welcome dinner featured with Vietnamese specialty. Overnight in hotel.
Day 2: Hanoi – City tour ( B, L)
8h00 AM Visit to HoChiMinh Mausoleum, HoChiMinh's House-on-stilt,  Ethnic Museum or Bat Trang pottery village, Van Mieu (Temple of Literature). Lunch
P.M: Visit Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple. Cyclo tour (1 hours) to visit Old Quarter of Hanoi and Dong Xuan Market. See Water puppet show.  Night in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong  ( B, L, D)
8h00 am: Our guide  will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi and start our trip to explore the most amazing bay in the North of Vietnam. On the way, we will have a quick stop at the middle of the way to rest. This also let you have a glance at Hai Duong Province and taste their traditional “Green bean cake”.
12.30: Arrive in our office at Hon Gai Pier, you will have a bit time to relax and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee. Wait for our captain to finish the registration and transfer by tender to our boat.
12.45: Enjoy welcome drink and spend a couple minutes to briefing about safety on boat and activities included then we check in our cabin.
13.30: Delicious Vietnamese set menu will be served while leisurely cruising further into Bai Tu Long Bay.
15.00: Arrive in kayaking area – that is Cap La Island. Enjoy kayaking through the karst and breathtaking nature, swimming and relaxing.
17.30: Get back to the boat and enjoys our Sunset party while our cruise sailing to the overnight anchorage.
19.00: Sumptuous set-dinner on board.
20.30: Free time to challenge yourself in Vietnamese puzzle games, or gathers your group/family for a board game; try your luck with squid fishing or simply has a cocktail and enjoy the quiet night on the bay.
Day 4: Halong – Hanoi  ( B,L )
06.00: Start your day with a Tai Chi routine on sundeck or catch a morning view of the stunning bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee.
07.00: Breakfast will be served in Western style, familiar to you to fulfill your strength and ready for another exploring day.
08.00: Explore the well hidden Thien Canh Son Cave.
09.00: Upon return to the boat you will have about 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing.
10.00: Attend in a Vietnamese cooking demonstration. You can quickly learn a simple but delicious Vietnamese dish that Gordon Ramsey (a 2 Michelin Star Chef) used to guide – Nem Cuon or challenge yourself in fruit and vegetables carving.
11.00: Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch on boat.
12.00: Back to the harbor and disembark in Hon Gai pier.
12.30: Our transport will take you back to Hanoi.
17.00: End of service. Night at Hotel in Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi - SaPa (B, L )
After breakfast, 8h00 am, pick up at your hotel and depart to Lao Cai (245km). It takes about 5 hours traveling the new highway to Lao Cai. The bus ride brings good chance to see beautiful scenery of the region along the way. Arrive in Sapa at early afternoon, relax and have lunch at the restaurant.. Check in hotel. free and easy to discover Sapa town.
Night at Hotel.
Day 6: Sapa - Laochai - TaVan (B, L)
Enjoy the overall pictures of the villages among terraces. Visit the H'mong living in wooden and bamboo houses. Transfer by jeep and trekking to Tavan village to visit the Dzay minority.Take the road to GiangTaChai village of the Red Dzao minority via the paths between terraces and through bamboo
forests. Visit silver waterfall and suspension Rattan Bridge, visit the people in the village and then cross MuongHoa River up to the mountain to visit the last village of the trek - Supan village of the H'mong. Get back to Sapa by jeep. On the way back, enjoy visiting the ancient stone circle where stones are decorated with ancient carvings. Check in hotel in Sapa.
Day 7: Sapa - Than Uyen (B, L.D )
As we traverse Tram Ton Pass, the highest mountain pass in Viet Nam, we are afforded magnificent views andexperience a dramatic change of climate. the road to ThanYen is lined with fruit orchards, tea plantations, towering mountains and chance to meet and talk to the Hmong people, Overnight at guesthouse in ThanUyen.
Day 8 : ThanUyen - MucangChai - MocChau (B, L.D )
Am: continue to YenBai. Stop over in MucangChai.
Sometimes steep and often rugged, the road through the valley is both breathtaking and dramatic.
Hugging rice terraced mountainsides and fording turbulent rivers, our travels today are visually spectacular.
Then transfer directly to Moc Chau, Moc Chau town is 1,000 meters above sea level, and has a wonderfully temperate climate with four distinct seasons. Famous for its beautiful landscapes, tea plantation and dairy farming, Moc Chau has quickly become an attractive tourist destination. The town is also well-known for its hospitality and savory inexpensive specialties like milk cake, yogurt, taro and tea, just to name a few. Overnight in MocChau guesthouse.
Day 9 : MocChau – Mai chau   (B, L.D )
Am : Drive to Mai Chau. We pass through a region of spectacular limestone mountains, passes, valleys and wind our way down hills to Mai Chau valley of the Thai people. We will spend the afternoon to walk around the village, learn more about the Thai and experience their hospitality from our stay in their house on stilts  In MaiChau. Go shopping around Lac Village. Walking throughout some White Thai villages to see people making traditional dress and stools.  Dinner  and overnight at a lovely resort – Mai Chau HideAway resort
Day 10: Mai chau – Hanoi departure. End trip .(B, )
Am : Breakfast. Short walk to the Muong minority village. Walking through plum & peach gardens to contemplate peaceful scenery. Then transfer back Hanoi for flight deparature to next destination. End trip.
