British Airways
(BA) has added its flight codes to Cathay Pacific flights
between Ho Chi Minh City and Hong Kong, allowing travelers
to easily connect to BA services to and from Vietnam,
the airline announced.
The
new code-share arrangement allows travelers easy booking
and connections between Vietnam and London or Europe,
with shorter layovers in Hong Kong.
The
introduction of BA code-share services from Vietnam
enables travelers to take full advantage of services
available on the airline's website, www.ba.com.
British
Airways Regional Marketing Manager for Southeast Asia,
Rob McDonald, said: "In recent years, we've observed
that Vietnam is becoming an increasingly popular travel
destination."
He
added the new code-share services also could give tourism
a boost between Vietnam and London.
